The Primitivo Salento 'Caleo' IGT is a medium-bodied red wine from the Apulian grape variety of the same name. The name is derived from "primo - the first", because Primitivo belongs to the early ripening varieties and is harvested first, before all other grape varieties. An uncomplicated, drinkable wine for all occasions, but still with a certain power.

Strong cherry red with light purple reflections. Intense aroma of red and black berries with delicate notes of Amarena cherries, delicate spicy touch. Medium extract on the palate with soft tannin and very mild acid structure.
