Deep dark ruby garnet with black core. In the nose inviting, pleasantly warm fruit of currant, blackberry, black currant, blueberry, also black tea, licorice, red bell pepper, some lactice, lots of herbal spice, also delicate floral notes of lavender and violets, bitter chocolate.
On the palate great roasted aromas and excellent use of wood, insanely dense and fruity, again lots of currant, sour cherry, currant, tea, black olives, herbs, lavender, paprika, soft, powerful and elegant with a barely ending sweet finish.

Food recommendation: Beef, light game dishes (e.g. fallow deer, fawn, wild boar)
