Made by Bedrock Wine Company, the whole shebang is a blend of Zinfandel, Syrah and Petite Sirah.
Yummy, big, full-bodied red with lots of pepper and meaty notes intermixed with red and black fruits, earth, and spice. Some of the declassified lots from the Bedrock cuvées also end up in this blend. A terrific bargain, it should drink well for several years.

Bedrock Wine Co. is a renowned winery founded in 2007 by Morgan Twain-Peterson, a winemaker. Morgan worked in a converted small chicken coop in his early years. However, he remained committed to viticulture and became interested in winemaking. He focused on developing wines with a rich personality from several carefully managed vineyards. Therefore, Morgan transformed the chicken coop into a small winery.
The chicken coop, with its basket press and outdoor fermentation tanks, was Morgan's first experience of running a winery. It formed the basis and foundation of Bedrock Wine Co. Today, the winery is one of the most recognised names in its region.
Bedrock Wine Co. is dedicated to restoring and preserving the natural quality of old vineyards throughout California. The winery's staff focuses primarily on parcels that date from the late 19th to early 20th century. The vineyards date back to the nineteenth century. Bedrock Wine Co. draws inspiration from these plots. It also uses them to produce high-quality wines.

That's when it was first planted by William Sherman and Joseph Hooker. Today, the land covers 152 acres. It occupies a significant portion in one of the best wine growing regions. This gives it favourable factors that allow grapes of the highest quality to ripen.
