Talisker Port Ruighe Inseln
Talisker is the oldest distillery on the Isle of Skye. It was founded in 1831 by brothers Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill in Carbost on the shores of Loch Harport. The Talisker House estate, a few kilometres to the west in the mountains, gave the distillery its name. After a chequered history with many changes of ownership, Talisker now belongs to the spirits producer Diageo.

The aroma reminds you of what Scottish single malt must be like: Wonderfully balanced, smoky and at the same time with sweet peaks. The lager notes get on very well with full plums and toffee. In addition, there are slightly maritime nuances that remain discreetly in the background but playfully harmonise with the smoke, sweetness and rich fruit. The whisky is rounded off by sweet malt on the nose.
