Prosecco is a typical wine of the Veneto region. The production area extends in the province of Treviso in the Prosecco DOC area and includes the hills of morainic origin and the plain with medium-heavy soils of alluvial origin. The golden yellow Secco smells invitingly of green apples. The palate reveals a delicate, racy texture that tickles the palate.

Winemaking
The must is blended with yeast cultures selected by Villa Sandi and then put into vats where fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 15-16°C to enhance all the aromas of the harvest. When the desired alcohol and sugar content is reached, fermentation is stopped by cooling. After a short settling period, the sparkling wine is ready for bottling.
The whole grapes are gently pressed in the pneumatic press and, after an initial racking, the resulting must is placed in temperature-controlled tanks where it remains until the sparkling wine is produced.
Pairing: An excellent aperitif with savoury dishes. Ideal with steamed shellfish
