Giorgio Rivetti is an ambitious winemaker and perfectionist. He wants to produce the best Barbaresco red wines, to compete with Angelo Gaja. That's how he started more than 20 years ago. And with its three famous single-vineyard wines, the La Spinetta winery receives the highest accolades from critics all over the world year after year. They are wine monuments, each in its own right, which reflect the unique terroir of Barbaresco, and unfortunately are often drunk far too young.

With its acid structure and grippy tannins, the Starderi is a muscular and demanding Barbaresco. Decisive and at the same time delicate, it shows aromas of plum and ripe red fruits. Finest Nebbiolo nose, ethereal, taut, earthy, with elegant pull on the palate - Barbaresco at its best. For all its power, it is initially reserved and very straightforward, it definitely has a lot of potential!
