The San Felice vineyard extends over more than 650 hectares in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga, about 400 metres above sea level. Here, the combination of microclimate and soil, as well as the high temperature variations, allow the production of unique wines and oils. In order to highlight the particularities of each vineyard, we carried out the zoning in the 1990s. Five macro-areas were defined, in which those grape varieties are grown that are best adapted to the geopedological conditions of the different soils.
