On hot summer days, his grapes benefit from the cooling winds that sweep down into the valley from the hills at night; this is important for fruit and aroma development.

Slightly salty aroma of partly dried red berries, some black berries and plums with smoky and toasty hints, quite friable tannins that dry just a touch, lots of melt on the palate, good persistence, good finish.
