The Mayard vineyards have a large estate in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. The main cuvées are Clos du Calvaire, a beautiful classic wine, full and rich, with great complexity; the Domaine du Père Pape cuvée, more solid and ambitious, destined for ageing. Finally, from the terroir of La Crau, a very nice cuvée worth a detour: La Crau de ma Mère. A sunny wine, like its terroir, powerful and racy at the same time.

A beautiful yellow colour with greenish reflections shows in the glass. The nose is intense with notes of white peach, grapefruit and a hint of blackcurrant. Delightfully crisp in the mouth and very silky. A wine that shows freshness, roundness and fruitiness with good length and hints of citrus and violet.
This Chateauneuf du Pape blanc goes best with Mediterranean fish dishes or seafood with fresh herbs, as well as white meat in cream sauce.
