The name Papirusa is of Argentinian origin and means "beautiful and elegant" and was the name of the doll given by Emilio Lustau to the daughter of the managing director of Bodegas Lustau in the 1940s.
Manzanilla Papirusa has a bright yellow colour, with golden reflections. Aromas of chamomile, sea breeze and green apple, with hints of hay and fennel. It is dry, light, fresh and sharp on the palate.
Food recommendation: It is the perfect dry aperitif, an excellent accompaniment to Iberian ham, seafood, oysters, fried fish, white fish, marinades and salads. Try Papirusa with other dishes, such as Peruvian (e.g. ceviche) or Japanese cuisine (e.g. sushi or sashimi).
